About Geeta Hospital

Geeta Hospital Konambe started as a small polyclinic in the year 1980 by Dr. Rajendra. V. Gorhe. Dr. Rajendra Gorhe, the 3rd generation doctor from his family, persuaded his education in Ayurvedic Sciences and Acupuncture. He came to this village with a passionate dream of treating the diseased irrespective of any circumstances. Started with daily visits in the nearby villages, earning the blessings of his patients. With all the blessings and good will, he managed to set up a small O.P.D. at Konambe. As time passed there seemed a need of a bigger setup due to the increased footfall of the patients.

In 2000, Dr. Gorhe expanded his small O.P.D. into a 30 bedded hospital, where now his patients could come for a day care/treatment (O.P.D.) as well as could stay in the hospital (I.P.D.) for the treatment. Now his patients could take advantages of all the services provided in the new hospital like Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Massage, etc Geeta Hospital Konambe now runs in full capacity with patients all over the country, and few even from the abroad. The hospital now has a qualified and experienced team of doctors, paramedic staff and various departments which helps in the speedy recovery of the patients
